		<description>As an editor for a local weekly publication, local content is our ONLY content. And, it continues to work and draw readers. I agree with the article completely ... except for one major thing — how the heck are newspapers going to satisfy that local content without a sufficient editorial staff. Publishers have continued to dwindle the editorial staff, which, in turn, has dwindled local coverage. If an entire A-section is filled with AP stories, who the heck is going to fill it with local content? 

I think newspapers already know local is the way to go ... it just cant be done the way it used to be when half the desks in the newsroom are empty.</description>
