How to Transform Your Brochure Site into a Round-The-Clock Sales Machine

That’s exactly what Stephanie Diamond is helping solopreneur, Natalie Currie, to accomplish using a custom MindMap. Natalie provides training and consulting in the pharmaceutical and biotech fields. Because she is so busy working in her business, she has been challenged to work on her business. and, like most entrepreneurs, creating a content marketing-driven website is not something she ever would’ve learned in school or on the job. Thus, her website is nice but is typical of the brochure sites most small business owners put up on the web.

That’s where Stephanie came in. The MindMap she created served as a kind of mini–business plan. It enables a Natalie to see visually exactly what she needed to accomplish to take her business to the next level. It helped her to think through both of this strategy at the 30,000 foot level–and the on the ground of tactics she needs to implement ASAP.

What became clear as a result of the mind mapping exercise was that if you relatively simple steps would help her transform her brochure website into a “virtual assistant” website. Here’s how Stephanie puts it:

On the right side of the map we detailed what Natalie needs to do to get her clients to take action. If she does a few simple things on her website she will be able to automatically:

  • Collect e-mail addresses from visitors and organize them in a database that becomes a master list;
  • Collect response form information to qualify new customers;
  • Have a service answer calls and send them as an e-mail message for better organization;
  • Send follow-up response to customers with as much detailed info as she deems useful;
  • Educate customers about how to work with her using the process information sent to them.
